KAC GFA News for August

Announcements to Kick Off August…

The KAC GFA “Red” Exhibition

Our newest exhibition kicks off today, August 1, with new works and images celebrating “the color that evokes the widest variety of emotion.”

Some great visuals are already on display on the “Red” Exhibition page, and we hope to get more as the deadline to submit to the exhibition is not until Saturday, August 8.

New KAC GFA Featured Artist Tom Krempa

We’re honored to add textural sculptor and painter Tom Krempa as our newest KAC GFA Featured Artist.

His vibrantly colored canvases and 3-dimensional encaustic pieces not only “pop” visually, but inspire the viewer to look upon his work with a variety of perspectives, finding new editorials through longer inspections. Near topographically rendered canvases and extremely textured sculptures are both clever and soulful, accessible and deeply layered — literally and figuratively — and ultimately remarkably refreshing.

Kerry Alaric Cheeseboro, KAC GFA creator and now award-winning artist.

In the past month of July our founder and curator Kerry Alaric Cheeseboro received two awards, receiving the 4th Place prize in the Photography & Digital Category in Fusion Art’s 5th Annual Cityscapes exhibition, and as well being selected as Fusion Art’s Solo Exhibition Artist of the Month for the upcoming month of October.

It is always great to see any artist get recognition for their work and talent, even more rewarding to receive accolades for them.

Congratulations to Kerry, and as well to Tom and to all the exhibition contributors — you’ve all helped to make this new online-only art gallery endeavor very worthwhile!
